Nothing To Lose (Theatrical Trailer)
This hugely funny action-comedy hit stars big-screen favorites Martin Lawrence (Bad Boys 1 & 2, Wild Hogs) and Tim Robbins (High Fidelity, Mystic River).
Advertising executive Nick Beam (Robbins) has completely bottomed out. His career is a mess, his marriage is on the rocks ... and a fast-talking would-be carjacker (Lawrence) has just jumped into his car! So what does he do? Nick throws common sense out the window and turns the tables on his captor! Soon this mismatched pair speeds off on a comical crime spree that includes holdups, high-speed chases, and revenge!
Set to a hot hit soundtrack, "Nothing To Lose" is another wild comedy success from the creator of "Ace Ventura" and "The Nutty Professor"!
MPAA Rated R for pervasive language, and some sexuality and violence.

Robbin's Last Recorded Guitar Solo
(From www.juancroucier.com)
9-20-03
In honor of Mr. Robbin Crosby.
The recording was done in late 1999 at The Cellar. Unfortunately, it became the last recording Robbin Crosby performed on. It is my honor to present this clip to you on Robbins behalf. He is playing a solo on a record called The River-The Life, by a band called Air Pavillion. We are in the control room and his amps are in the studio room. This is the original "first take," he only did one take. This is the performance on the record, as recorded in real time. Ironically, the song is called The Canyon (The River Of Dreams). If you listen carefully, you can hear him switching pick ups and the sound in the control room as we did it. This record also features Kelly Hansen, on lead vocals, Tom Croucier, on bass, Jay Shellen on drums and Tak Yonemochi on guitars.
Special thanks goes out to: Tak Yonemochi for the footage. I gave him a hard time for taping this session, but now I'm glad he did.

Kenny Loggins - "Danger Zone" (Top Gun, film) HIGH QUALITY
Top Gun is a 1986 American film directed by Tony Scott and produced by Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer in association with Paramount Pictures. The screenplay was written by Jim Cash and Jack Epps Jr., and was inspired by an article written by Ehud Yonay for California Magazine entitled "Top Guns." The film stars Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis, Anthony Edwards, Val Kilmer and Tom Skerritt.
The film follows LT Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, a young Naval aviator who aspires to be a top fighter pilot in the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School, which trains the top 1% of all Naval aviators. Maverick gets his chance to attend the school after one pilot drops out, allowing him and his RIO (Radar Intercept Officer, the "back seater" in the two-man F-14) LTJG Nick "Goose" Bradshaw to train with the best. The film opened in America on May 16, 1986 to good reviews, the aerial scenes being most notably praised. Similar praise followed soon afterwards when the film broke records at the box office, becoming a mega hit. The film accumulated over $350 million world-wide, and broke home-video sales records.
Cast
Tom Cruise as Lt. Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell - Before Cruise was cast in the role, several actors, including Charlie Sheen, John Travolta, Michael Biehn, Mickey Rourke and Matthew Modine, were considered for the role. Although the studio favorite before Cruise was selected, Sheen was not cast due to being too young, and Biehn, Rourke and Modine all declined. Although being an actual licensed pilot, Travolta was also turned down. On an episode of E! True Hollywood Story, Scott Baio claimed he turned down the role of Maverick.

The Wrong Man - Original Trailer 1957
Director Alfred Hitchcock lets us know from the outset that The Wrong Man is a painfully true story and not one of his customary fabricated suspense yarns, through the simple expedient of walking before the camera and telling us as much (this introductory appearance replaced his planned cameo role as a nightclub patron). The real-life protagonist, musican Christopher Emmanuel Balestrero, is played by Henry Fonda. Happily married and gainfully employed at the Stork Club, Balestrero's life takes a disastrous turn when he goes to an insurance office, hoping to borrow on his wife's (Vera Miles) life insurance policy in order to pay her dental bills. One of the girls in the office spots Balestrero, identifying him as the man who robbed the office a day or so earlier. This, and a few scattered bits of circumstantial evidence, lead to Balestrero's arrest. Though he's absolutely innocent, he can offer no proof of his whereabouts the day of the crime. Lawyer Frank O'Connor (Anthony Quayle) does his best to help his client, but he's up against an indifferent judicial system that isn't set up to benefit the "little man". Meanwhile, Balestrero's wife becomes emotionally unhinged, leading to a complete nervous breakdown. As Balestrero prays in his cell, his image is juxtaposed onto the face of the actual criminal-who looks nothing like the accused man! Utilizing one of his favorite themes-the helplessness of the innocent individual when confronted by the faceless bureaucracy of the Law-Hitchcock weaves a nightmarish tale, all the more frightening because it really happened (the film's best moment: Fonda looking around the nearly empty courtroom during his arraignment, realizing that the rest of the world cares precisely nothing about his inner torment). Hitch enhances the film's versimilitude by shooting in the actual locations where the real story occured. His only concession to Hollywood formula was the half-hearted coda, assuring us that Mrs. Balestrero eventually recovered from her mental collapse (she sure doesn't look any too healthy the last time we see her!) Watch for uncredited appearances by Harry Dean Stanton, Bonnie Franklin, Tuesday Weld and Charles Aidman.
