Pan Am Railways PLED
Pan Am Railways train PLED (Plainville, CT-East Deerfield, MA) crosses East Main Street in Plainville and comes to an abrupt stop because of a crossing malfunction at East Street- the next road over. Once the train was under way I caught up with it gain in downtown New Britain.
Without the 351 as a reminder behind it- one would never know Guilford existed with MEC 352's new paint. This train reminds me of the old wedding rhyme "something old, something new, something barrowed and something blue."

New Haven, Connecticut-based melodic pop four-piece The Shellye Valauskas Experience has been performing together since 2000, sharing the stage with such notables as Todd Rundgren, Melissa Ferrick, Ivy, Patty Griffin, Kristin Hersh, Pat Benatar, Amy Rigby, Merrie Amsterberg, Mike Viola, Shane Nicholson and Mary Lou Lord.
2002's debut release, The Stupid Truth (Volare) was well received by music critics and fans. The New Haven CD release party was a sold-out success, and the album is currently receiving airplay on college stations throughout the tri-state area. Brad Jacobs is a New Haven area music promoter specializing in acoustic performances. This event was held at Neverending Books in New Haven, CT USA
