This is a recording of me, a person who was born blind, playing through Pokemon Pearl version. I will be starting from scratch, getting the 8 sinnoh league badges, beating the elite four and finally acquiring the national pokedex. This I believe is my 7th or 8th time through this game, so I have become very familiar with it. Most of it I figured out using only the walkthrough on pokemon.marriland.com, though there were a handful of small areas (many of the gym puzzles primarily), that were too complicated. For those small areas, I had friends write me special, script-stile directions that I can use to navigate those areas (I needed this for all of victory rode at the end of the game). For most of the navigation, I simply go by using the walls and other objects (people, buildings etc) to know where I'm going. I use Pokémons cries to identify the Pokémon. About the segment: I start a new game, get through the intro, visit rival, travel to the lake, get starter, go home and get running shoes, travel to sandjem town, explain to the professor why Rival and I stole his Pokémon and had no other choice, go shopping, Return home, get the 2 maps and travel to Jubilife city to deliver the parcel to Rival. You might be wondering: How did I click the pokeball on the screen during the intro on an emulator? Well, the first time I did it, I had to have someone put the mouse over it. I created a computer program (using the scripting language Autoit), that would give me a textual representation of the location of the mouse pointer on screen (using X/Y coordinates). With this information in hand, I then created another computer program that on command would simply move the pointer to that set of coordinates, which precisely sits the pointer on the button that you have to click. I can now do it myself- and only had to ask for help with it once. This is the battle with the Boss of Team Galactic, Cyrus. I'll tell you this his Pokemon's level was like 2-3 level higher then mine. I have to say this battle with Cyrus wasn't all that great. He was to weak for me lol.

How you catch Shaymin: YOU MUST HAVE A POKEMON WHO CAN USE FLY, BECAUSE WITHNOUT FLY YOU CAN'T ESCAPE FROM FLOWER PARADISE. Register the Explorer Kit (Y-set on). Where to tweak http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_fwqCI8x_E Jublife Void http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uYTxg-EMiI When you succeed to do that dark void/abyss glitch, watch from the second video, how to get in that building from the wrong side. Now you are in the darkness. Go to the right side of the room and run up. First time when you "are" in Jubilife City (after Turnback Cave), use the Explorer Kit. The game says there's an error and resets. Start your game again and you're still in the endless darkness. Now take a bicycle and go to right about 900 steps, go to a spot where you are north side of Seabreak Path (or Route 224). You see your location when you check the Town Map (in such place where you can use it, for example in Jubilife City or something like that what is not Mystery Zone or Turnback Cave. You'll get to Jubilife City when you go some steps up after you did go those 900 steps to right) and press down button for a while and wait that square comes in the screen. You should get that square at the end of Route 224, then you are in the right place (oblique of the Route 224 doesn't fit, it must be just above the Route 224). Next, take your Step Counter from the Poketch and reset it. After this, don't look at the menu, don't even check the Town Map, because it's important the game wouldn't have a time to load the graphics! Now go about 64000 steps up (this part takes about one hour). When you have gone about 64000 steps up, you should hit on the rock on Route 224 (I did get in Sunyshore City, but I cycled to Route 224). Now you are in the "Fake-Sinnoh". You can cycle almost everywhere. So, go to end of the Route 224 where is that big white rock (you don't see it now, because the game hasn't loaded it's graphics), go about 4 steps right to it, and then go up. You can cycle over the water to the Seabreak Path. When you are in the Seabreak path, the game should say you're in Jubilife City. Now, use the Explorer Kit. The game says again there's an error and resets. When you open your save again, the screen is black, but it says you're in the Seabreak Path. Go to the menu, for example to the Pokedex, and when you come back the game has loaded the graphics. So, go up to Flower Paradise, where you find Shaymin. When you have caught it, use Fly to escape from the Flower Paradise. CREDITS: 1. Chiakiro - Found out how to get Darkrai. 2.
